This five track CD is a soundscape collection, sampled for your pleasure. It is intended to provide you with an alternative view of these well known tourist attractions. The icelandic national park Þingvellir, Gullfoss & Geysir, the hot springs in Krísuvík and The Blue Lagoon. Iceland is volcanically and geologically active. The interior mainly consists of a plateau characterised by sandy deserts, mountains and glaciers, while many glacial rivers flow to the sea through the lowlands. Iceland’s weather is warm thanks to the Gulf stream and has a temperate climate despite a high latitude just below the Arctic Circle.
